Hi, I’m Felicia — owner and founder of NUYU Hair Lounge. As a holistic hairstylist, I believe beautiful hair starts with overall wellness and intentional care. My hair lounge is a welcoming space designed for relaxation, self-care, and transformation — where clients can unwind, feel seen, and leave feeling refreshed inside and out.
Originally from Ohio, I moved to Tennessee in 2014 and instantly fell in love with the mountains, the slower pace, and the beauty of living surrounded by nature. My passion for hair began when I was a little girl, and in 2010 I began cosmetology school at Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy — where I completely fell in love with the artistry, creativity, and energy of the industry.
Those experiences led me to create NUYU Hair Lounge in 2018 — a space designed to offer more than just hair services. My vision was a personalized, elevated experience where clients could relax, feel cared for, and leave feeling like the best version of themselves. From the unique history and character of the building to the curated, holistic-inspired hair services and mountain views, every detail of NUYU was created with intention.
In 2024, I transitioned into a more holistic philosophy and became a licensed hair loss practitioner — dedicating myself to better understanding scalp health, product sensitivity, and the powerful connection between mind, body, and hair wellness. My goal has always been to support my clients not just aesthetically, but in a way that truly honors the overall health of their hair and scalp.
